Workshop: Advancing Ecosystem Services Support for Agriculture

WRI is hosting a one-day workshop titled “Advancing Ecosystem Services Support for Agriculture.” The morning session will be a series of speakers sharing their expertise and insight to:

• clarify definitions and concepts of ecosystems services in agriculture,
• identify existing and potential legislative opportunities for advancing an ecosystem services approach to policies that impact agricultural land and practice, and
• identify social and technical research needs to support those efforts.

Afternoon breakout sessions will discuss and identify additional issues and research needs and tie them into a broader strategy for advancing sustainability in agriculture. Lunch will be served.
