Join us for the official WRI side event at the UNFCCC Meeting on May 31-June 11, in Bonn, Germany.

Please join the World Resources Institute (WRI) for a discussion of key international climate change financing issues. WRI will present its latest analysis of Fast-Start Finance pledges from developed countries, its new working paper on issues related to reporting climate finance with recommendations for a post-2012 reporting format, and its views on governance of finance and next steps for a Copenhagen Green Climate Fund.

Presentations by WRI staff will be followed by a discussion with panelists.

This event will be followed by a catered joint reception with Project Catalyst, who will then continue the discussion on finance at their side event with a more in-depth look at the deployment of Fast-Start Finance. Their event, entitled “Assessment of pledges under the Copenhagen Accord and principles for the use of Fast Start Finance” will take place from 19:45-21:15 in Room SOLAR (MoE).
