The Eye on Earth Summit, held in December 2011, convened heads of State, global leaders, innovators, policy and decision-makers, business leaders, scientists, academia and civil society, to strengthen existing efforts and determine new solutions to the critical issue of “access to environmental and societal data and information by all those who need it”.
This event will provide an overview of the outcomes of the Summit, including the Eye on Earth Summit Declaration and eight Special Initiatives.
