Please join us on Wednesday, April 20, for a conversation with U.S. Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz followed by a panel discussion.

The event, BEYOND COP21: A CONVERSATION WITH ERNIE MONIZ, is hosted by The Christian Science Monitor in coordination with WRI. Moniz and other speakers will examine the trajectory of global energy innovation and climate action following last December's historic summit in Paris. The discussion will take place just days before over 130 countries convene in New York City for the official signing ceremony of the Paris Agreement.

Presenters will discuss how the momentum coming out of the Paris climate talks can translate into action on-the-ground – both in the United States and around the world. Speakers will also explore new efforts to rapidly accelerate private and public investment in clean energy research.

The talk is free and open to the public. Doors open at 8:30 am for networking.
