| Abstract: China's Progress Towards the Millennium Development Goals, compiled by the UN Country Team in China, looks back at China's achievements and experiences since 2000 in its progress towards the MDGs, identifies the problems and shortfalls and puts forward suggestions for the way forward. The statistical methods and means of assessment used may not be quite the same and the analytical perspectives adopted may also vary, but the report undoubtedly gives all sides useful insights into the current situation of China's development, the challenges it faces and its future path. |
