Tackling Climate Change: China and International Organizations

The event provides a platform for International organizations to share their experiences in tackling climate change in China.

The agenda features opening remarks by Andrew Steer (President, WRI), and Su Wei (Director General, Department of Climate Change, NDRC), followed by a panel discussion featuring high level representatives from Asian Development Bank, World Bank, United Nations Development Programme and Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.

Specifically the discussion will center on:

• How do we ensure that the whole adds up to more than the sum of the parts?
• What are the hallmarks of successful engagement in China?
• Where does China actually need help?
• How to ensure strong partnerships among international supporters
