Alejandra Achury is research analyst who focuses on financial solutions for fleet electrification, analyzing total cost of ownership, economic benefits, and diverse business models. She supports school bus electrification efforts in the United States through the Electric School Bus Initiative, as well as public transportation through the Cities program in WRI Colombia.

Throughout her career, Alejandra has set out to use her experience and skills in business, public policy, and data to seek solutions for a more sustainable and equitable world. Prior to joining the team, she worked as a business analyst at Idea Foundry, researching the social impact entrepreneurial ecosystem and developing partnerships to create programs for social entrepreneurs in Colombia.

Alejandra holds a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University. She also obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration at CUNY Baruch College in New York City.
