Andrew Leach is a Research Assistant with the People and Ecosystems Program at the World Resources Institute. He provides GIS and remote sensing support for the Southern Forests for the Future project. Andrew started at WRI as an intern with the Central Africa Forestry and Coastal Economic Valuation teams and continues to support their projects.

A Southern California native, Andrew has a B.S. in Natural Resources from Cornell University and an M.P.A. in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University. He has previously worked with Sustainable South Bronx to develop a green building retrofit training program in New York City.
