Benji is the Administrative Coordinator for the Climate and Energy Program (CEP). He provides support to the CEP Director and Deputy Director, helps manage the Climate Analysis Indicators Tool, and engages in additional program operations. His primary tasks include managing and maintaining the Director and Deputy Director constituent database, organizing and running Director-led internal meetings, and supporting other Coordinators with event preparation and logistics. Benji also serves as a point of contact for internal and external requests for CEP-related information. Prior to joining WRI, Benji interned in the Sierra Club’s legislative office, where he worked in the department of Conservation Operations.

Benji received a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis. While in college, he worked as a student consultant at the Interdisciplinary Environmental Law Clinic and interned at the Marine Conservation Institute and the St. Louis Zoo.

When not in the office, Benji is likely in search of the world’s strangest animal or baking chocolate chip cookies. He also may be travelling, running, or taking photos.
