Christine is the Director of Online Communication. She is responsible for the strategic leadership and oversight of WRI’s websites, online initiatives and social media engagement. This means ensuring that our websites, blogs and social media efforts work together to increase our reach, deliver consistent messages about who we are and communicate our research, data and tools in fresh and compelling ways.

Prior to WRI, she was Web Director at Conservation International where she oversaw digital strategy and management of their global web presence to achieve branding, communication, membership and fundraising goals. Christine has worked in the online world for over 15 years and is passionate about building, managing and evolving global websites that deliver a great user experience and meet business objectives. She loves working with technical and design teams and translating techno-geek into business speak. She believes in over-communicating because the devil is in the details. She has learned to keep an open mind and a sense of humor in the face of ever-changing priorities.

Christine has an MBA from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor’s in English Literature from Sorbonne University in Paris, France. She grew up in France and is bilingual French/English.
