About Gaia
Gaia is an Associate in the International Financial Flows and the Environment (IFFE) project within the Institutions and governance Program. She is an attorney whose work focuses primarily on safeguards protecting people and the environment from harm associated with the investments of public financial institutions.

Prior to joining WRI Gaia was a fellow at the Institute for Policy Integrity at New York University. She has previously worked for the World Federation of United Nations Associations, Ashoka, and the Lawyers’ Environmental Action Team in Tanzania.
Gaia holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College and a J.D. from New York University School of Law.
Gaia enjoys horseback riding and generally being in nature.
