About Madaleine

Madaleine is the Program Coordinator for the Institutions and Governance Program (IGP). She provides program support, coordinates communications and outreach, manages the program’s finances, and assists the Program Director.

Prior to this position, Madaleine interned at WRI in the Climate and Energy Program, where she worked on the German Renewable Energy Speakers Tour. She also recently worked as an environmental policy researcher for the Cypriot Government regarding natural gas development in and around Cyprus. And more distantly, she interned at Human Rights Watch as well as worked as a campus organizer for US Public Interest Research Group on a number of environmentally related campaigns.

Madaleine holds a MSc in Environment and International Development from the University of East Anglia in Norwich, UK and a BA from Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York, where she focused her studies in Geography and Environmental Policy, as well as studied abroad for a year in Argentina.

Madaleine lives in DC and enjoys filling her free time with a variety of outdoor activities as well as yoga, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family in Montana.
