About Robert

Robert (Rob) is an Associate with the Markets and Enterprise Program. He is the lead on communications for Aqueduct, WRI’s tool for measuring and mapping water risks, and works to maximize the visibility and impact of the tool with audiences ranging from businesses and investors to governments and international NGOs. See www.wri.org/aqueduct for more information. Rob is also involved in coordinating and aligning the Markets and Enterprise Program’s broad range of work with the private sector.

Rob previously worked in government relations, advocating for the funding and implementation of environmentally sound water infrastructure solutions in communities across the United States. He has also done research and advocacy on wildlife conservation issues ranging from multinational species conservation finance to illegal online trafficking in animal products. Rob holds a B.A. in political science from American University in Washington D.C.

Rob is an avid backpacker and canoeist, and completed a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail in 2007. His other passions include commuting by bicycle and the Boston Red Sox.
