FEATURES

You are in the "Features" section of the EarthTrends text site. This section contains short, informative articles on environmental, economic, and social issues shaping today's world. Based on the World Resources Report series, these feature articles were written by World Resources Institute staff.

The Features section of this site is intended for anyone with an interest in environmental issues. While some of the articles may use technical or scientific terms, they are intended for a general audience. Some educators have used the articles to enhance curricula, and we encourage wide distribution of this information. Please contact us at the email address below if you plan to reprint or sell information on this site.

To access these articles, click first on any one of the topic areas on the toolbar above and then select a feature story from the list on that page. On each page, you will find links to "View Notes" and to "Download as PDF". The "View Notes" link launches an external window with a comprehensive listing of the sources used to write the story. The "Download as PDF" link will launch an external window which contains the feature story in Adobe PDF format. To save this information to your hard drive, right click on the link and select "Save Target As . . ."

We welcome and value feedback from our users. If you find an error, have a suggestion, or would like to tell us how you are using EarthTrends information, send an email to earthtrends@wri.org
