You are in the "Maps" section of the EarthTrends text site. This section contains over 100 maps which graphically depict the world we live in. Based in large part on the Watersheds of the World and WRI's publication the Pilot Analysis of Global Ecosystems, these maps were created by World Resources Institute staff. Many of the maps are global; some depict regional level environmental issues. Under the Water Resources and Freshwater Ecosystems topic, you can find extensive maps on Watersheds. More updated information is also available on EarthTrends. To access these maps, click first on any one of the themes below and then select a map from the list on that page. On each page, you will find links to "View Large Image" and to "View PDF File". The "View Large Image" link brings up an external window which gives shows a larger map with better resolution. The "View PDF File" link will launch an external window which contains the Adobe PDF file. To save this information to your hard drive, right click on the link and select "Save Target As . . ." We welcome and value feedback from our users. If you find an error, have a suggestion, or would like to tell us how you are using EarthTrends information, send an email to earthtrends@wri.org See Maps:
