EarthTrends Releases First Podcast

Submitted by EarthTrends on Mon, 2006-09-11 15:55

EarthTrends is pleased to announce that we are launching a series of podcasts--audio files which can be downloaded and listened to on personal music players. The podcasts are a collaboration between World Resources Institute, StopGlobalWarming.org, and the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, produced as part of these organizations' continuing efforts to spread awareness and factual information about global warming and compel people to take action.

These podcasts, produced at WRI, pull together artist interviews conducted at the Bonnaroo festival, held in June, 2006; songs performed at the festival; facts and current analyses on climate change; and practical measures to lessen one's carbon footprint. The first episode is available now and contains songs by the bands Rusted Root and Steel Pulse, a brief introduction to global warming, and an interview with two artists from Rusted Root.

You can download the first episode, listen to it online, and subscribe to the podcast feed at http://www.podshow.com/shows/?mode=detail&episode_id=24977.

As we release these podcasts, they will be posted at http://earthtrends.org/podcast/.

We welcome your feedback as well as your suggestions for future content.
